Pushing Past Your Comfort Zones

 

You know I have a lot of goals and one of them is to loose about 10 pounds and get to a weight that I feel more comfortable in my own skin let alone my skinny jeans.  One thing I love to do is go to our neighborhood Sports Park and just power walk and light jog.  One morning last week I was doing my laps around the park and I got to the last lap and just when I was about to reach the point where I would always stop and begin cooling down, the Lord said “do another lap and push past your comfort level.” My first reaction was “what? No, I’m tired. I must not be hearing right.”  However, when I reached that point I reluctantly kept going. 

 

The Lord started to flood me and remind me that when we plateau at something that is usually the time to push past the comfort zone and come up higher.  I tell you what my body did not want to push because I ached and my mind wanted to follow how I felt.  My legs felt like straw after a while and I tell you what I did not feel comfortable any longer, but I was pushing past the box, pushing past the neat little world I’d been in. 

 

Is this not how it is in the Kingdom, we rise higher from one level to the next, from Glory to Glory in the Lord. If we did not go through this time of discomfort we would be like dwarfs spiritually.  It does not come easy, it means pushing out past what you think you know and how you feel and going where no man has gone before.  It means trusting in the Lord when you do not even feel in touch any longer with your own senses because they are going haywire, all you have left to rely on is the Lords Leading. 

 

Just as a man leads a woman in a dance, His gaze never leaves her and she keeps her eyes fixed into his.   Never looking down to see where she should put her feet, she just follows his lead.  This is what the Lord has called you to, but He never pushes you into the new level, He never forces you there, He simply woos you and hands you an invitation for the journey.   It’s up to you to accept it, and Just think how life would be if we never opened that invite.  However, He is standing before you right now with outstretched arms just waiting to take you on the journey of your life!!

Lord thank you for your comfort, thank you for your embrace every day Lord thank you for it.  I praise you Jesus from the rising of the sun until the going down of the same. 

 

Yes Lord I will do all you ask of me for I love you and your love is sweeter than wine.  Thank you for your face, I love to see you face to face.  You touch my soul, my spirit, my body Lord with your goodness.  I love to see you, for you are the love of my life.  You are the pleasure in my day and nights you are my lover and I am yours.

 ....

Sweeter than honeydew Lord you are sweeter than the sweetest delicacy God.  You are sweet my God and my very flesh cries out for you God.  I cry out for your touch God, for your face, for you Jesus in every way.  My heart my soul cries out to you Lord for in you there is only love, pleasure, happiness, fullness of joy.  

 

Thank you, for I am not alone and was never alone, for you were always there with me God from the rising of the sun til the going down of the same.  Holy Spirit I love you so much.  Can I keep you.  I just love the fact that you are there for me and I am there for you Lord.  I just turn my head, and I see you.  You are awesome in this place Mighty God.  

 

My God you are awesome and my very cells cry out to you.  Lord you said for me to open my mouth wide so that you may fill it.   Lord my mouth is open for you God I need more of you Jesus to make it in this life Lord.  

 

I see so many people who are big names in this earth but they are here today and gone tomorrow Lord, as Life is but a fading vapor.  Their names will go down in earth’s history, but what about heavens history that is eternal.  This earth is going to pass away and there will be a new earth, and these people will not even be remembered.  But they have done such great feats here in the earth but they will not go down in heavens records, it’s a pity and a shame.  

 

Why are we trying so hard to be known in this earth when we need to begin to think about our names going down in the heavens!

 ....

Even the enemy said "this man I know, and Paul I know but you I know not.  The spiritual realm knew the name of Paul. 

 ....

I do not just want my name known in this earth Lord,  they do not even have to know me at all save needing to get your message across but Lord I want to go down with the names in heaven Lord, that my name is written in the Lambs book of life, Amen.

 

 

 

 

What Does It Mean To Be Stationed?

 

This question has been ringing in my ears for the last few weeks.  I have been reading the book of Nehemiah and the Lord began to show me something new.  I see where Nehemiah had a passion for an assignment and the stage was set.  Everything was a Go, the doors were opened at every turn for him to carry this thing out.

 

Then you see where Nehemiah began to tell the officials what the Lord put in his heart to do.  The officials responded with great zeal and enthusiasm as the scripture said:

 

Those who were to do the work replied to Nehemiah’s request and said “LET US START REBUILDING”

 

CHAP 4 says the wall was already half built “FOR THE PEOPLE BUILT WITH ALL THEIR HEART’

 ....

So you see here the Morale was very High.  However something began to happen down the road.  The strength of the people began to give out. The scripture said:

 ....

Ø    Then the Jews who lived nearby said Ten Times over“ Where ever you turn they will attack us” (LOW MORALE)

 

There were negative words being said in their ears over and over again until their enthusiasm began to erode.  Just like the tide that comes in can just wash over that beautiful sand castle that you spent all day creating. Now wave after wave comes crashing down on your creation and you wonder can you ever build something so beautiful again. 

 

I had a task that had to be fulfilled this week and I have one other team member to work this task. At first I looked at this task and said "my God this looks like a mountain." But I began to have new hope this weekend and began to see it through the eyes of God.  And this hope came from spending time in His presence.  He will do that for you.  But when I began to say how we are going to get this job done this team member began to say "well you know things may come up that distract and maybe you won’t get this done in the time frame you think because you never know what could happen."  And I thought well maybe my expectations are too high.  But then I thought again and said wait a minute that is a negative spirit and it was so subtle that I almost began to stand in agreement with it.

 

I said no we will complete this task and get it done and just because this negative word was spoken it made me to push even more to do it.  We are now at the end of the week and we are right on target to finishing what we started. And what looked like a mountain, now looks like dust.....

 

Why am I saying this.  The Lord has given you a task and an assignment.  You enjoy this thing because you were made for it, but somehow you have gotten off task.  Maybe there were little voices saying to you “Did God really say this, maybe you should just cool it for now I really do not see any results from it any way.”

 

No you tell the Devil He is A Liar and is the Father of Lies.  It’s Time to Hope again.  It’s Time To Dream Again.  And it’s time For the rest of that Wall that you began building to go up.....

Tell Them.

 

This is what the Lord says:   “As a shepherd saves from the lion's mouth only two leg bones or a piece of an ear, so will the Israelites be saved, those who sit in Samaria on the edge of their beds and in Damascus on their couches.*”

 

Wow.  When I look at the above scripture it really depicts the trials and tribulations that we as children of God go through.  I know there have been times when I have felt like this that after gone through the fire and the flood there were only scraps of me left.

 

I was seeking the Lord and I felt the Lord say the following.

 

Tell them that I Love them.

 

Tell them that they are mine and have always been mine.

 

For it has always been about us, and everything I do I always have you in my heart.

 

Let them know I know every hair on their heads.  I know what is in their hearts before they even open their mouths, before they even form their thoughts.

 

Let them know their situations do not escape me, even though all they hear is silence right now, for this silence in the heavens is speaking volumes.

 

For my word says In returning and rest you shall be saved, in quietness and confidence will be your strength, but you would not.

 

This is the time to be silent and stand in confidence in the face of opposition this is the time to let your silence speak volumes.

 

This is the time to stand and having done all, stand in my serene atmosphere. When everything else around you turns up side down this is the time to stand in my peace, My joy.

 

Do not call conspiracy what these people call conspiracy.

Do not call for a treaty when they call for a treaty.

Do not fear what they fear

Do not dread what they dread.

 

The Lord Almighty is the One you are to regard as Holy.

He is the One you are to fear

And He will be a Sanctuary for you.

 

But to these He will be the Stone that causes men to stumble.  So do not stumble but dwell in my sanctuary in peace and in joy.  However when faced with opposition face it with quietness and confidence for this will be your strength. 

 

Isaiah 53:7

For He was oppressed and afflicted but did not open His mouth.  For He was led like a Lamb to the slaughter in silence and as a sheep before her shearers is silent He did not open His mouth.

 

Thank you Jesus for it.

THY KINGDOM COME NOW!

Thank you Lord for this day. God I see there are many Lord who are in need of prayer right now and what keeps coming back to me is standing and decreeing what you are saying into the earth.  Lord I thank you first of all, For who is like you Lord? you sit high and you look low I know this is ALL your plan Lord. 

 

Lord you said thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven, give us this day Lord our daily bread and forgive us of our trespasses and we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil for thine is the Kingdom the Power and the Glory forever and ever Amen.  Lord you taught us to pray this way Lord from when we were little, but I did not realize how powerful this prayer was until recently, and the more I walk with you the more I realize it. 

 

I know what is happening in the earth right now is your plan your will and your way for you are Sovereign.  You have given each of these people a piece of your plan, YOUR KINGDOM, for them to carry it out in this earth for you Lord.  You are jealous for your people and for your Kingdom Lord and you will not sit by and watch as it is crushed Lord but you will rescue your people thank you for it Lord.  No weapon formed against you shall prosper all that will rise up against you shall fall.  The enemy’s plans will not prevail for Lord your plans must go forth as the building of the Kingdom in this earth must go forth.  The enemy is already a defeated foe.  Thank you for it Lord. 

 

I bring each one before you Lord for you to strengthen this day. Lord give that glimpse of who you are yet again to your people. Bring them up higher on that mountain with you leaving all of the cares of life down below it.   Fill their mouths Lord with your goodness this day.  Let them dance and sing and rejoice with you in the land of the living this day.

 

 

I call forth all that are in sackcloth and ashes to be anointed right now with the oil of gladness and to go out and sing with the joyful.  Lord thank you for it.  I call forth those miracles to come forth now.  I close the door to curse in your mighty name and open to blessings, for you have said we are already blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm.  Lord thank you for it.

 

Psa 128:2

You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours.

Psa 128:3

Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your sons will be like olive shoots around your table.

Psa 128:4

Thus is the man blessed who fears the Lord.

Psa 128:5

May the Lord bless you from Zion all the days of your life; may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem,

Psa 128:6

and may you live to see your children's children. Peace be upon Israel.

 

 

Psa 35:27 - Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.

 

 

Psa 30:6 - And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved.

 

Thank you for it Lord, I will not be moved in my prosperity and blessing and I stand in it everyday with my face as flint.  The floodgates of heaven are open and birthing is about to take place I see the swelling of the walls and the gates just as a cloud is about to burst forth with rain upon the earth, My God thank you for it Lord.  My peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you, Not as the world giveth do I give onto you, do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
